YOUNGEST MASTER OF THE CENTURY?

Provincial Grand Master John K Clayton; 35 visiting
Brethren; the Brethren of the Lodge and one of the
youngest ever Master Elects. What more could one
ask for at an Installation?
That was the privilege that Beacon Lodge No
4066 had at the Installation in November of Tobias
Alexander Reece who, at 28 years of age, can
claim to be one of the youngest Masters in the
current century.
Bro Reece was presented by his father, Arthur who
also had the pleasure of being the Installing Director
of Ceremonies and delivering the address to the
Master. Tobias’ uncle, David Reece was appointed
Inner Guard.
The new Master was Initiated into Beacon Lodge in
October 2005 and raised in April 2006. His enthusiasm
for all aspects of Freemasonry is infectious and there
is no doubt the Lodge will benefit from this and his
knowledge of Masonic matters.
He is a member of Alfred Chapter No 306, a
Prince in the Order of the Secret Monitor and a
Mark Master Mason.
CORONATION GRANT
SPORTS KIT
Brethren of Coronation Lodge No 2922, Leeds were recently
involved in providing a £500 grant (courtesy of The Leeds
Masonic Charity) to the Garry Chappelow Memorial Fund. This
is a charitable organisation whose aim is to support local Sport
Teams and Individuals by providing grants to enable them to
purchase kit and equipment. Donations have been made to
assist boxing, karate, rugby, football, cricket, gymnastics,
martial arts, tennis, dance groups and cheerleaders.
To date, the Garry Chappelow Memorial Fund has donated
over £90,000 to applicants.
