Vasti Ayurvedic Treatments
Vasti means retaining oil for a period of time. A well or boundary made from kneaded
herbal dough is placed on a specific area of the body. Warm medicated oil is then gradually
poured in to fill the well. When the oil starts to cool, it is gradually removed and fresh,
warm oil is once again poured in. Before the Vasti, the treatment starts with an Ayurvedic
massage to relax and prepare muscles on the concerned area.
Katti Vasti – Ayurvedic Lower Back Therapy
