But, we know that family and friends can help make your hospital stay more pleasant. Please note: • We have a flexible visiting hour policy. Please check signs on your unit or ask a nurse for visiting hours. • Your doctor may limit your number of visitors. • You may also ask to limit your visitors. • To respect patients who are sharing a room, visitors may be limited. • Quiet Times are observed from 2 – 3 p.m. and from 9 p.m. – 6 a.m. During these hours, we ask that you and your visitors help us maintain a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. To facilitate this, patients with roommates will be offered the use of headsets for listening to TV and earplugs will be available for patients requesting them. Tobacco-Free Policy All ProMedica Health System campuses, including Flower Hospital, are tobacco-free, indoors and outdoors. This includes our lawns, walkways, sidewalks, parking lots (including inside vehicles) and any other grounds that ProMedica maintains. As a courtesy, please also be considerate of our neighbors and avoid littering and loitering on properties that surround our campus. We understand that quitting tobacco can be hard. Smoking/tobacco use is a physical addiction. It takes the average person nine attempts to quit before they are successful. So even if you have tried to quit and have not been successful, keep trying. If you choose to quit and need assistance, please contact the Ohio Tobacco Quit Line at 800-QUIT-NOW, or consult your doctor for options that may include nicotine replacement therapy.
