This <strong>do</strong>ctor cares<br />

only for my stomach and<br />

little about me. He could have<br />

closed this hole long ago, but he has<br />

not. I travel everywhere with him,<br />

but what I would give to be<br />

home aga<strong>in</strong>.<br />

The lonel<strong>in</strong>ess<br />

Canada, soon I will<br />

see you aga<strong>in</strong>.<br />

But all is not well <strong>in</strong> scientific paradise…<br />

But how?<br />

So… What <strong>do</strong> you th<strong>in</strong>k?<br />

stomach. The book conta<strong>in</strong>ed 240 of <strong>the</strong> experiments he completed. F<strong>in</strong>d<br />

3. Years later, Dr. Beaumont was quoted as say<strong>in</strong>g that St. Mart<strong>in</strong> left <strong>in</strong> part<br />

you have been will<strong>in</strong>g to take part <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong>se experiments as St. Mart<strong>in</strong> did?<br />

Expla<strong>in</strong> why or why not.<br />

4. Beaumont could have closed <strong>the</strong> hole <strong>in</strong> St. Mart<strong>in</strong>’s stomach with simple<br />

Expla<strong>in</strong> your reason<strong>in</strong>g.<br />
