Your class is enter<strong>in</strong>g a contest <strong>in</strong> which <strong>the</strong> participants model complex<br />

materials with everyday items. Your class has chosen to model <strong>the</strong> four basic<br />

<strong>human</strong> <strong>body</strong> tissues. The everyday items you can use are a rubber band, a<br />

piece of plastic wrap, some electrical wire, and some modell<strong>in</strong>g clay.<br />

<strong>in</strong> Table 1.3 and decide which item<br />

best models each type of tissue.<br />
