This diagnostic is typically Frequency Output 4 15 – Failed High on Pin 15 Circuit of the Common Powertrain Controller<br />

(CPC4) #4 Connect<strong>or</strong>.<br />

1. Turn the ignition ON (Key ON, engine OFF).<br />

2. Connect to DDDL/DDRS version 7.08 SP2 <strong>or</strong> newer.<br />

3. Verify parameters – go to the parameters w<strong>or</strong>k window.<br />

4. Verify that the parameters in PGR009 frequency outputs are set to the specific component to which this is configured<br />

(example: Tachometer).<br />

5. Are the parameters configured c<strong>or</strong>rectly?<br />

a. Yes; Go to step 6.<br />

b. No; configure the parameters properly.<br />

6. Fix the open circuit on pin 15 circuit of the CPC4 #4 connect<strong>or</strong>. F<strong>or</strong> wiring schematic inf<strong>or</strong>mation, refer to Original<br />

Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) literature.<br />

This diagnostic is typically Frequency Output 4 15 – Indicated by a Sh<strong>or</strong>t to Ground on Pin 15 Circuit of the Common<br />

Powertrain Controller (CPC4) #4 Connect<strong>or</strong>.<br />

1. Turn the ignition ON (Key ON, engine OFF).<br />

2. Connect to DDDL/DDRS version 7.08 SP2 <strong>or</strong> newer.<br />

3. Verify parameters – go to the parameters w<strong>or</strong>k window.<br />

4. Verify that the parameters in PGR009 frequency output are set to the specific component to which this is configured<br />
