Nigerian Breweries Plc is the pioneer and acquired majority equity interests in Sona<br />

Incorporated in 1946, the company Management Limited, (Sona Systems)<br />

recorded a landmark when the first and Life Breweries Limited from<br />

bottle of STAR lager beer rolled off its Heineken N.V. This followed Heineken's<br />

Lagos Brewery bottling lines. In 1957, the acquisition of controlling interests in five<br />

company commissioned its second breweries in Nigeria from Sona Group in<br />

brewery in Aba. Kaduna Brewery was Sona Systems' two breweries in Ota and<br />

commissioned in 1963 while Ibadan Kaduna, and Life Breweries in Onitsha<br />

Brewery came on stream in 1982. In have now become part of Nigerian<br />
