Dear friends - Rotarians from Germany, members of Russian -
German Bilateral Committee!
We represent Rotary Club Saratov-Centre (Saratov, Russia),
Rotary district 2220.
More than 7 600 children with disabilities live in Saratov. They
require daily care and attention not only from close people and parents,
but also from doctors, teachers and the most important thing – from their
contemporaries. The narrow circle of contacts corners children and
brakes their development, though in many countries this problem is paid
the great attention, and people with disabilities are considered as full
members of society. Members of Rotary Club Saratov-Centre are
worried by this fact and direct their activity to the help for children with
disabilities and urge you to join the project «Help the child». The main
point of the project is to create «Center of exchange and hire of medical
and preventive equipment and implements» in the Saratov branch of

Russia Society of People with disabilities (see approximate photos). The
majority of the equipment is considered for the certain age of children.
But children grow fast and can’t use it for a long time. Many parents
don’t have money for buying new equipment and do not know where to
give or exchange equipment being in use of their children and in good
condition. Creation of such a Centre in Saratov will help to solve this
problem.
If you can to gather a funds for buying, purchase orthopedic
equipment and products or donate to «Center of exchange and hire of
medical and preventive equipment and implements» equipment already
being in use and in a good condition you will render the invaluable help
to children with disabilities.
We hope that we can find associates among the Rotarians of
Germany and they will help us to realize the project «Help the child» on
creation of «Center of exchange and hire of medical and preventive
equipment and implements» in Saratov.
