Fibular Deficiency Classifications • The problem is that most schemes do not adequately aid clinical decision-making: – Too much emphasis on the presence/absence of the fibula. – Inadequate emphasis on associated foot anomalies, total <strong>limb</strong> length inequality. – (Probably) Emphasis on unilateral/bilateral is immaterial to patient function.
