he Rahate Collection encompasses

is both culturally inspired and inspiring.
He is an iconic force to be reckoned with
having over fifteen years of experience
in the fashion industry. His red carpet
worthy, posh evening gowns are made
in a variety of splendid fabrics and styles
which have garnered him many accolades
as a highly accomplished designer
in his own right.
Rahate is an incredibly viable resource for
emerging as well as established fashion
industry talent to learn from. He is the
only designer that has been invited by
the United Nations to present his collection
at the UN Headquarters in New York.
Over fifty of his richly hued, ornate gowns
graced the red carpet at the Oscars this
past March. His couture gowns have also
been spotted at several high profile occasions
in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood,
and Hollywood benefits for Children’s
Uniting Nations, the Emmy’s, Cannes Film
Festival, the Elton John AIDS Foundation,
Fame & Philanthropy, French Tuesdays,
Vanity Fair celebrations, and Salute to the
Stars Night of 100 Stars galas.
The famed Courtier has gallivanted all
across the fashion globe, showcasing on
runways worldwide. From Los Angeles
to San Francisco, New York to Germany,
Switzerland India and France his work always
makes a statement. Aside from the
many red carpets his gowns have graced,
his accolades span across the board,

Born and raised in Mumbai, India, Shekhar
Rahate studied Fashion Design at the
BEAMS School of Fashion in Dubai as well
as Fashion Photography. During that time,
he became fascinated with exotic fabrics,
intricate details, ornate colors and overall
fashion designing as his chosen career.
One of his many goals is to accentuate a
woman’s silhouette, allowing her to move
