3. Environmental sustainability:
i. With a view to reduce trip generation:
• Develop Alwar as a Mass Transport based city.
• Develop Alwar as a walkup neighborhood / work place city.
• Use mixed Land use zoning concept.
• Develop Alwar as a high density – high rise city.
ii. To reduce energy consumption:
• Use green technology in construction of buildings.
• Use non-conventional energy supply sources to support functioning of
city.
iii. To reduce pollution:
• Cover entire urban area with sewerage.
• Use modern methods of solid waste management.
