Applications<br />
Designed f<strong>or</strong> saturated steam (max 6 bar at 164 °C<br />
= 85 psi at 327 °F) in general industrial applications.<br />

Recommendations<br />
Use only couplings with safety clamps. Follow the coupling<br />
manufacturer’s instructions f<strong>or</strong> coupling procedures.<br />
Check coupling tightness bef<strong>or</strong>e every utilisation.<br />
Drain after use. When not in use, st<strong>or</strong>e the hose on a flat<br />
surface (shelves) and never hang from a hook.<br />

WARNING<br />
Steam hoses gradually decrease in their perf<strong>or</strong>mances during service life. Consequently, they need to be<br />
regularly inspected by trained personnel wearing adequate protective cloths overall, including eye protection.<br />
WARNINGS OF DANGER<br />
Cuts and gauges in the hose cover showing the textile reinf<strong>or</strong>cement. Steam leaks. Permanent def<strong>or</strong>mation of<br />
hose. Reduction of steam flow. WHEN ONE OF THESE ABNORMALITIES OCCURS, THE HOSE SHOULD BE<br />
REMOVED FROM SERVICE AND INSPECTED. If a failure occurs close to the couplings, the damaged hose<br />
can be cut recoupled and used as bef<strong>or</strong>e.<br />
