Five pupils from <strong>S5</strong> and S6 will support our S2 pupils in creating a community based<br />
art project.<br />
Black Diamond FM<br />
English<br />
A brilliant opportunity for pupils to plan, create and broadcast a regular radio show<br />
for Black Diamond FM. Pupils will find news stories and sport updates for the show,<br />
as well as deciding what music to play!<br />
Business Enterprise<br />
Business, IT & Vocational<br />
If you like a challenge, enjoy working with other people and can think outside of the<br />
box, sign up for BUSINESS ENTERPRISE; a range of opportunities will allow you to<br />
develop your Enterprise Skills in a series of Business Challenges in a Competitive<br />
Team Environment.<br />

Peak performance Maths is basically an extra period of Maths for pupils<br />
studying Int2 or <strong>High</strong>er. Pupils can get help on areas they are finding difficult and<br />
extra practice as they prepare for their exam.<br />

Learn to plan, rehearse, advertise, stage and perform in events in your community<br />
including in nurseries, primaries and day care centres.<br />
The <strong>Newbattle</strong> Bake Off<br />
Home Economics<br />
Pupils will organise and bake for an afternoon tea or coffee morning fundraiser.<br />
(Re)Making Movies<br />
English<br />
A great opportunity to learn about and use different filming equipment and software<br />
through making low-budget remakes of your favourite Hollywood blockbuster<br />
movies.

The group will play 11 a side games outdoors.<br />

Basketball Leadership<br />
Six pupils from <strong>S5</strong> and S6 will support S2 pupils to learn all the cool skills from basic<br />
to advanced. They will work with PE staff and senior superstars to build a team to<br />
play for fun or to play for glory in the Scottish Cup. You will have fun!<br />
Indoor played in Games hall.<br />
Dance Leadership<br />
Ten pupils from <strong>S5</strong> and S6 will support S2 pupils as they learn dance routines and<br />
prepare for the Dance showcase 2014.<br />
Indoors in Dance studio<br />
Football Leadership<br />
Six pupils from <strong>S5</strong> and S6 will support S2 pupils in working on skills both team and<br />
individual.<br />
Played outdoors on astro.<br />
Rugby Leadership 8 seniors<br />
Eight pupils from <strong>S5</strong> and S6 will support S2 pupils<br />
to form a team to play other schools.<br />
Contact sport outdoors on grass.<br />
All Physical Peak sections require correct kit, or a medical note, for every session.
