On the first day, the Luncheon Keynote Address on “Property
Development in the Selangor State” was delivered by the Chief Minister
of Selangor, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim. The second day’s Luncheon
Address on “Incorporating Feng Shui in Property Development” was
delivered by Mr. Joey Yap, CEO of Yap Global Consulting.
Among the key issues and new developments discussed in the summit
were globalization and liberalization of the property sector and its
impact on Malaysian developers, islamic mortgages and potential of
islamic finance in housing & property development, innovation and
branding in property development - key success factors, towards
sustainable development - best practices in sustainability and green
development, where are the new property hot spots and how will the
economic climate impact on real estate investment and success stories
in Malaysia Real Estate.
