European Antique, Classic and Exotic Automobiles and Wine Festival - Saturday -
Sunday, September 15-16, 2012
Classic Automotive Events of Virginia, Inc., in
conjunction with the Central Virginia British Car
Club (CVBCC) is pleased to announce its 28th annual
Classics on the Green – European Automobile
Show and Wine Festival. The show and wine
festival will be held on Sunday, September 16,
2012, again this year at the New Kent Winery, 8400
Old Church Road - just off Route I-64, Exit 211 - in
New Kent, Virginia. The event opens to the public
at 11:00 AM and will continue until 4:00 PM (rain
or shine). The fun begins on Saturday, September
15th, with driving tours, sightseeing, shopping,
and a dinner at the winery.
Last year’s event was a huge success with
over 275 automobiles on display and many vendors
offering unique goods, services and even
luxury car test drives. This year the festival promises
to be even more spectacular, with a new show
field, new vendor areas, Hot Air Balloon rides,
and many other activities for the family’s enjoyment.
The Winery will feature a variety of exquisite
Virginia wines from its own Winery and other
Virginia Vineyards.
The featured marque for 2012 will be Rolls
Royce and Bentley. Additionally, there will be a
special display celebrating the 50th anniversary of
the MGB. Joining the Rolls and Bentleys will be
such extraordinary nameplates as: Austin Healy,
Aston Martin, MG, Ferrari, Jaguar, Lotus, Porsche,
Triumph, Mini, Morris Minor, BMW, Mercedes-
Benz, Saab, Volvo, Alfa Romeo, Lamborghini,
Pantera, and many more.

for the 28th Annual Classics on the Green. Advance
purchase admission to the car show and
wine festival is $25.00 (advance purchase available
through the COTG website). Admission for
the car show only is $10.00 for adults (children
12 and under are free). A portion of the proceeds
will be donated to charity. Our beneficiary again
this year is the Richmond Fisher House at the Mc-
Guire Veterans Medical Center.
