hotels, pubs, and clubs, to name a few.
Comcater is a wholly Australian owned and operated
company specialising in the manufacture and distribution
of commercial foodservice equipment within the
Australian Foodservice industry. Comcater was founded
in 1979, and has office and warehouse facilities in
Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, directly
employing over 100 employees.
Comcater is the sole Australian distributor for many of
the world’s leading brands in foodservice equipment,
including: Rational, Garland, Frymaster, Winterhalter,
Lincoln, Menumaster, Franke, Comenda, Cambro, Alto
Shaam and Mareno. Comcater also manufacture the
Trueheat brand of commercial cooking equipment.
In 2009 Comcater started its major projects, and
specification division. Comcater now is able to assist
clients, and designers in choosing from the latest
technology in foodservice equipment. One of the
products that has sparked the interest of designers, is
the Mareno range of “cantilevered” cooking equipment.
Mareno cooking equipments is designed and manufactured
near Italy’s fashion capital Milan, so you can be
assures it not only delivers what chef’s want, but also
looks the part.
The Mareno 90 series is cantilevered off a 300mm deep
spine wall, which houses all services. The spine wall can
be built into a new wall, attached to an existing wall, or
it can be fixed in the centre of a kitchen, to form an
island cooking bank. Because the equipment is hanging
off the wall, there is no need for legs, and cleaning
under the units is a breeze. Every piece of Mareno
equipment is available in modules of 400mm width, so
the design can be tailored to the client’s needs or
specified working space.
Not only does Comcater distribute and manufacture,
they also provide exceptional after sales support
including, spare parts, warranty and preventative
maintenance. Comcater’s service division is a major
focus for the company, as a direct result from the
demand of our customer base to provide a ‘Total Care’
solution.
