Through <strong>My</strong> <strong>Choice</strong>, you have the opportunity <strong>to</strong> make regular contributions <strong>to</strong> offset<br />
all, or part of, your carbon footprint. Each carbon offset equates <strong>to</strong> one <strong>to</strong>nne of carbon<br />
dioxide avoided and costs £5 per offset for the <strong>My</strong> <strong>Choice</strong> year. To put this in perspective,<br />
the average UK home emits 10 <strong>to</strong>nnes of carbon dioxide each year.<br />
You must select a minimum of two offsets for the <strong>My</strong> <strong>Choice</strong> year, but there is no limit<br />
<strong>to</strong> the number of offsets you can select, subject <strong>to</strong> the overall limits applicable <strong>to</strong><br />
<strong>My</strong> <strong>Choice</strong>. If you select this benefit, the cost of your carbon offset will be spread over a<br />
12-month period.<br />
For example, if you select 10 units the monthly cost will be (£5 x 10 units) / 12 months =<br />
£4.17 per month.<br />
