Background<br />
• Sabre ® <strong>Ticket</strong> <strong>Safe</strong> is an optional security application that was developed to<br />
enable agencies to restrict/disable ticket issuance outside of office hours for<br />
enhanced security<br />
• Fraud alerts were sent from Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) in response to<br />
agency inquiries about information requests and charges for fraudulent ticketing<br />
• A Sabre bulletin was issued to remind agencies to be aware of calls for personal<br />
information, i.e., phishing for pass codes<br />

• Applies to authorized ARC/BSP ticketing agencies<br />
• Is controlled by a TJR update<br />
• Includes TJR default as “OPEN” for ticketing<br />
• Provides additional security layer within automated ticketing<br />
• Limits ticket issuance to authorized staff within agency<br />
• Limits ticket issuance outside of office hours<br />

Procedures<br />
• Agency should review EPRs in the City Sign Table (H*CST)<br />
• Ensure only active employees have EPRs<br />
• Verify appropriate employees have SUBMGR and Duty Code 9<br />
• Establish guidelines for the disabling of ticketing<br />

• EPR keyword SUBMGR and duty code 9 required to enable feature<br />
• To “OPEN” agency for ticketing: W/TICKETING‡ON<br />
• To “CLOSE” agency for ticketing: W/TICKETING‡OFF<br />

• Error response when agency is CLOSED<br />
