2.6. Achievements versus Objectives for the 1st period of the project
As it became evident from the dissemination archive presented to the previous sections,
the AIDE consortium attributed great importance to the dissemination task as it clearly
recognises the need of having a real impact on the European community through the
research applied. Referring to the initial Dissemination strategy for the project, and
specifically for the 1 st two years of its duration the objectives were:
- “Publications and presentations describing mainly the project’s concept and research methodology.
Presentation to events such as ITS Europe, ITS world, etc.” Already from the second year of the project
initial results will be ready. Thus, the aim of the dissemination task will be to publish the first developments
and describe the future work to be performed. The research community, OEMs, country road authorities,
etc., will form the main target group of the publications and project presentations to be performed during
this year. Technical papers will be submitted to scientific conferences as well as to world and European
ITS workshops and events.
