The opportunity for demonstrating AIDE functionalities to such an important venue is
considered critical for the dissemination efforts of the project since this large scale event
will attract the interest of both specialized and the general public – end users. In addition
the cost-benefit ratio will be significantly more favorable compared to scheduling an
individual demonstration since the event cost and advertisement effort will be shared with
all other projects participating to the exhibition. AIDE project will remain in continuous
communication with the organizers of the event so that the maximum exposure and
advertisement of the project is accomplished.
3.4.1. AIDE Final User Forum Workshop
The AIDE project will organize towards the final year of its activities a final User Forum
workshop presenting all research results of the project. The target is to include to this
event the AIDE demonstration vehicles if possible and at the same time schedule a full
day workshop with parallel sessions presenting each sub-project and their respective
results. Also keynote speeches from EC and key stakeholders of the area will be included
to the agenda. The presentations will be accompanied by a Poster session. Finally demos
will be available demonstrating the key results of AIDE.
The workshop will be an opportunity for experts from the scientific society and key
stakeholders in the automotive area to meet and interact providing feedback to the
project’s results. This will eventually create new synergies and opportunities for further
developments and research activities after the AIDE project.

not exclusive nor concluded but just a report of the known plans of the consortium today.

IEEE Intelligent Vehicle Symposium will be held in Tokyo, Japan on 13-15 June 2006.
AIDE will present the paper “System architecture for integrated adaptive HMI solutions”
by Angelos Amditis (ICCS), Holger Kußmann (BOSCH), Aris Polychronopoulos
(ICCS), Johan Engström (VTEC) and Luisa Andreone (CRF)
- AIDE presentation to TRA “Transport Research Arena 2006” conference
Göteborg, Sweden, June 12th - 15th 2006
The presentation will be made by Johan Engström (VTEC, Sweden) and will be entitled “
Adaptive Integrated Driver-vehicle InterfacE (AIDE).
At the same conference demos of SP2 tools will be available.
