Scout Sunday will be celebrated at the 10 AM mass on February,<br />
5th. The Scout Sunday tradition was started to make people in houses of<br />
worship aware of Scouting, and to allow Scouts to live out their "Duty to<br />
God". All Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts are encouraged to attend<br />
the Mass in their Scout uniform or wear their Girl Scout vest or sash. If you<br />
would like to participate in the procession, come 10 minutes before the start of<br />
Mass and meet in the gathering area. There will be pews reserved for the<br />
Scouts to sit together.<br />

For the life of children, making us glad with their freshness<br />
and promise,<br />
For the life of young people, hoping for a better world,<br />
For the life of people who are disabled, teaching us that<br />
every life has value,<br />
For the life of the elderly, witnessing to the ageless values<br />
of patience and wisdom.<br />
Like Blessed Mary, may we always say "YES" to Your gift.<br />
May we defend it and promote it from conception to its natural<br />
end. And bring us at last, O Father, to the fullness of eternal<br />
life in Jesus Christ, our Lord.<br />
