Stephens died Monday,
Sept. 6, 2010, in Fort Worth.
Born March 12, 1952, in
Rayville, La., to Houston
Bruce and Dolly Mae (Johnson)
Hestand, she married
Kermit L. Stephens June 2,
1976, in Jacksboro. She was
a homemaker and a member
of the Pleasant View Baptist
Church.
Stephens was preceded in
death by her brother, Arnold
Wayne Bruce.
She is survived by daughters,
Heather Harbin and
husband, Stephen, of Grapevine
and Melissa A. Boski
and husband, James S., of
San Antonio; stepchildren,
Thad K. Stephens and wife,
Jackie, of Camden, S.C.,
Kay Roberts of Cassatt,
S.C., Russell L. Stephens
and wife, Cindy, of Alvord,
Lisa L. Bowers and husband,
Tommy, of Kershaw,
S.C., and Christopher B.
Stephens and wife, Allison,

of Kershaw; her mother of
Rayville, La.; brother John
Wesley Hestand of South
Louisiana; 13 grandchildren;

Funeral for Curtis Roy
“Buck” Young Sr., 90, of
Decatur will be 11 a.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 14, at Coker-Hawkins
Funeral Home
with Van Gardner and Bill
Hughes officiating. Burial
will be at Pleasant Grove
Cemetery No. 1. Visitation
is 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the
funeral home.
Young died Monday, Sept.
6, 2010, in Decatur.
Born Feb. 19, 1920, in
Fletcher, Okla., to Omar and
Ema Lona Walker Young, he
was a residential and commercial
contractor. Young
was a member of the Fundamental
Baptist Church
and the Veterans of Foreign
Wars. He served in the United
States Army Air Force
during World War II.
He was preceded in death
by four children, Carl Young,
Charisse Stevens, Sheila
Moss and Linda Huggins.
He is survived by sons,
Curtis Roy Young Jr. of Saginaw
and Dennis Ray Young
