Babysitters’ Preparation,
1 class, Wednesday,
4:30-6:30 p.m.
(Fee: $35 per person)
This class provides caregivers with the
information they need to safely care for
a child. Topics include changing diapers,
feeding, holding a baby, infant safety
issues, and how to contact emergency
personnel, such as the police and poison
control centers. This class is for young
girls and boys, ages 10-16.

Dads On Duty –

(Fee: $40 for Dad)
This class will identify and explain the
value of developing and maintaining a
strong father/child bond during the
formative years of a child’s life. Learn how
and why dads should play an active role in
raising their children. Dads get together to
discuss how they really feel, their fears
and anxieties, and get answers to questions
on how to overcome them. Some general
baby care and “hands-on” practice, using
dolls, will be a part of the class.

Grandparents’ Class
1 class, various days, 7-10 p.m.
(Fee: $45 per couple)
This course provides information on the
most current childbirth practices, child
development and childcare, and fosters
a better understanding between parents
and grandparents. Topics include newborn
care, infant feeding, ways to soothe a
crying baby, infant safety, childproofing
a home, toys for various ages, and other
concerns for new grandparents.

Inner Visions: Family Bonding Using 3D/4D Ultrasound
Kraft Center
(Fee: $150 per family)
Studies have shown that bonding through ultrasound provides an opportunity to involve
the family in the birth process from the beginning. The course involves an educational
class designed to teach families about the importance and significance of ultrasound in
pregnancy. Following the classroom discussion, each family will be given a personal 3D/4D
ultrasound bonding experience. Upon class completion you will receive a CD-ROM with
images taken during your session and six 3 X 4 black and white prints for your enjoyment.
Please enroll by your 22nd week of pregnancy. Best viewing times are between 24 and 28
weeks of pregnancy. Siblings are welcome.
Weekend classes, Saturdays, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
