students are guided through exercises<br />

assist in <strong>for</strong>mulating future goals.<br />
Without goals <strong>and</strong> directions, students<br />
may not make the best decisions <strong>for</strong><br />
their life. Students begin working<br />
on their future now to achieve success<br />
later on.<br />

How to Make A Difference<br />

<strong>Children</strong> today want to make a difference<br />
but are sometimes frustrated because<br />
their intentions may not be taken<br />
seriously. This workshop provides<br />
guidance <strong>and</strong> direction <strong>for</strong> analyzing<br />
their strengths <strong>and</strong> passions, brainstorming<br />
opportunities to pursue, creating an<br />
action plan <strong>for</strong> the future, <strong>and</strong> learning<br />
about different roads to success.<br />

Being Fearless vs. Fearful<br />
For ages 9-13<br />

In today’s world many dynamics cause<br />
children to become fearful <strong>and</strong> many<br />
times that fear can be debilitating.<br />
<strong>Children</strong> will be given tools to release<br />
their fears, find ways to face those fears,<br />
build self-confidence, <strong>and</strong> get a better<br />
h<strong>and</strong>le on the world around them.<br />

Girls On the Go<br />
For mothers <strong>and</strong> daughters<br />

Girls go through many physical <strong>and</strong><br />
emotional changes during puberty.<br />
Through fun exercises together, moms<br />
will learn how to support <strong>and</strong> encourage<br />
their daughters to develop into strong,<br />
healthy women with positive self-images.<br />

In today’s digital age, young people have become experts at shorth<strong>and</strong> communication<br />
but experience breakdowns, frustration, <strong>and</strong> anger when it comes to expressing<br />
their feelings, resolving conflicts with their peers, talking through problems with<br />
their parents, <strong>and</strong> speaking up <strong>for</strong> themselves with teachers. This interactive workshop<br />
will encompass problem-solving skills, role playing, conflict resolution, <strong>and</strong> peer<br />
relationship interaction.<br />
