Damage to segments
Problems, malfunctions and their cause
Diamond Systems
Most complaints concerning diamond saw blades can be traced to machine-related problems,
wrong application, misuse of the diamond saw blade or use of the wrong diamond
saw blade specification.
Problem Characteristics Cause Solution
Motor power inadequate Check voltage or motor power output
Saw blade becomes blunt Select blade specification and adjust
due to excessive speed speed to suit material being cut
Saw blade becomes blunt due to Dress the saw blade segments by cutting
