program is designed to make sure
you find the college or university
that meets your needs. The top third
of our graduates earn acceptance to
the “most competitive” schools, and
virtually 100 percent of Sem grads

What is the Sem
Scholarship Exam?
The 29th Annual Sem Scholarship Exam awards
up to 10 four-year scholarships to attend
Wyoming Seminary Upper School. Students
are selected based on academic achievement,
community leadership and communication skills.
What scholarships
are awarded?
One full-tuition scholarship
Two two-thirds tuition scholarships
Three half-tuition scholarships
Four $5,000 scholarships
Who is eligible?
Students currently in eighth or ninth grade who are
not currently enrolled at Wyoming Seminary and
who were not offered a scholarship in 2009 are
eligible to take the test.
