There’s a strong family ethic at work at Interiors with Art. Brother
and sister Sanjay Sharma and Shailja Vohora grew up surrounded by
beauty, art and culture, and now they share that perspective with
their clients. The company’s elegant, bespoke homes are created from the
ground up—from the first design inspiration, through to complex building and
installation, to sourcing exquisite art and luxurious textiles. The foundation
stone of every scheme, and the company’s true strength, is Sanjay and
Sanjay and Shailja attribute their passion for all things aesthetic to their
mother, a talented artist and designer, and both siblings have grown up to
become collectors themselves. With their multi-domicile upbringing—in India,
East Africa, the US and the UK—they also have a particular insight into the
finer points of how clients from different cultures want to live, a perspective
that is increasingly important for a city with as much of an international
countenance as London.

For Interiors with Art, detailed attention to a client’s lifestyle and
personality is paramount. A contemporary Mayfair penthouse, a Louis XVIstyle
palace in the Middle East and a relaxed beach house in Spain will all
be designed exclusively for each homeowner, and be based around their
exact requirements.
