FLOWER SHOW SCHOOL COURSE II<br />

Are you interested in learning about floral designs and flower shows? Join us for<br />
Flower Show School Course II in Williamsburg, VA.<br />
Date: October 3-6, 2011<br />
Location: The Woodlands, 105 Visitor Center Dr, Williamsburg, VA<br />
Adjacent to the Visitor’s Center with free shuttles to the Historic Area.<br />
Flower Show Procedure and Design: Julia Clevett<br />
NGC Design Instructor, NGC Symposium Chairman and Master Flower Show Judge<br />
Among many design credits and homors, Julia has represented the United States at<br />
the Chelsea Flower Show and at WAFA in Boston, 2011.<br />
Horticulture (Chrysanthemums and Vines): Sandi Piccirillo<br />
NGC Horticulture Instructor, Master Flower show Judge, Master in Landscape Design<br />
Her credentials include 20 years working horticultural retail management, certification<br />
in pesticides in VA and certification in VA as horticulturalist.<br />
SCHEDULE<br />
Monday, Oct 3 4 - 6 pm Flower Show Procedure<br />
Tuesday, Oct 4 9 am - 5:15 pm Design<br />
Wednesday, Oct 5 9 am - 5:15 pm Horticulture<br />
Thursday, Oct 6 9 am - 12 noon Written Exam<br />
Registration opens 30 minutes before each session<br />
HOTEL INFORMATION:<br />
Room rates guaranteed through Sept 9, 2011 at The Woodlands $109/night<br />
double/double and $136/night king suite plus applicable taxes. Continental breakfast<br />

any time or call 800-261-9530 Monday-Fridays 8:30 am to 5 pm and ask for Block<br />
16578. If you need to cancel, use the same procedure that you used to book the<br />
room. One night’s deposit is required when booking, refundable if room is cancelled<br />
3 days prior to event.<br />
