The purity of the starting material in this standard is 99.995% Calcium Carbonate. Preparation: This standard was prepared gravimetrically to contain the elemental concentration as shown. Raw materials of the highest purity were used, including high purity acids (where applicable), and ASTM Type 1 water. Equipment used; calibrated Class A glassware and balances traceable to National Standards. All bottles were acid leached and triple rinsed with deionized water prior to use.
