Bonderite® NT creates a cohesive, inorganic, high-density coating incorporating
nanoparticles. Only 20 to 30 nanometers thick, the coating is not only thinner
than that obtainable with iron phosphating, but also of superior quality. NT is
ideal for steel, zinc and aluminium surfaces.

Tiny particles – huge effect
Bonderite® NT delivers significantly improved paint adhesion and greater corrosion
protection than iron phosphating. Being phosphate-free and with shorter contact
times, Bonderite® NT substantially reduces your process costs, too.
Bonderite® NT Fe-Phosphate Bonderite® NT coatings increase the surface area
and offer the paint a larger surface to adhere
to than iron phosphating. NT coatings are
in the nanometer range, while iron phosphate
coatings are measured in micrometers.

High speed at room temperature
Applied by dipping or spraying, Bonderite® NT accelerates surface preparation for
painting, with a contact time of only about 20 seconds. And, since no passivation is needed, it
eliminates an entire process step. Nor is it necessary to heat the baths. Bonderite NT
works at room temperature, substantially reducing energy costs.
