The <strong>System</strong> is applied for remote<br />

control of pneumatic, hydraulic and<br />

electro-hydraulic operated valves<br />

and pumps for ballast, bilge, fueland<br />

cargo oil handling. Modern<br />

visualisation and network structures<br />

the PLC core component HOMIP<br />

controls and monitors the operating<br />

functions of the field bus and ensures<br />

a safe back-up function.<br />

EASY HANDLING<br />

Clear and logical visualisation of the<br />

piping system on a monitor or mimic<br />

panel makes it easy to operate the<br />

valve remote control system. In case<br />

of PC or network failure the valves and<br />

pumps can be controlled manually via<br />

the HOMIP back-up panel.<br />

Components<br />

HOMIP<br />

The HOMIP is a powerfull PLC with communication,<br />

control and monitoring functions. The touch screen<br />

display is provided with a clearly arranged control panel.<br />

Compact dimensions allow the installation in all kinds of<br />

control panels.<br />

VISUALISATION<br />

Necessary information are clearly<br />

arranged to enable fast and safety<br />

operation. Data from the Hoppe Anti<br />

Heeling, Tank Gauging and Draught<br />

Measuring <strong>System</strong> can be indicated.<br />

The design is carried out to the customers<br />

requirements.<br />

MIMIC PANEL<br />

The clear and functional designed mimic<br />

panel is controlled by the VS MIP via an<br />

bus interface. Integrated bargraph indicators<br />

for tank content indication<br />

complete the operating surface.<br />

Pneumatic control Electro-hydraulic control<br />

SUBSTATION<br />

Rational arrangement of electronic and pneumatic or<br />

hydraulic components forms the advantage of a com -<br />

pact and clear control cabinet. Simple pipe connection<br />

from side wall have been the target of our experienced<br />

design. For saving cable and piping work the substations<br />

can be divided and located close to valve groups.


Components<br />

RDI / RDO<br />

All interface boards for digital in- and<br />

output are controlled by the PLC core<br />

component HOMIP via a RS485 bus.<br />

HOCON<br />

The electronic unit HOCON controls<br />

and monitors all functions of the<br />

electro-hydraulic actuator HOREA.<br />

The unit is designed for manual or<br />

bus controlled operations.<br />
