Late registrations will be accepted provided there is space available in the courses. Courses start the week of 1/24/11. SWIMMING LESSONS - AQUATIC CENTER See the Aquatic Center information on the inside back cover. COMPUTERS Other courses for children include: “Tickle the Ivories” on page 7 “Hunter Education” on page 7 COMPUTER BASICS If you are new to computers or just need some extra help, this class is for you. Michelle will help you get started and make your time on a computer more enjoyable. Course Number: NCCMP 100 R1, Fee: $75 Instructor: Michelle Schutten Location: RSC-1430 T: 1/17/12 to 2/21/11, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM 6 Weeks, Class Limit: 12 PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS This course will cover the basics of photo editing, organizing, and special effects using Adobe Photoshop Elements 8. Examples of each lesson will be demonstrated at the beginning of each class, and the remaining time will be available for hands-on use of the software. Topics include photo organizing, fixing dust spots and scratches, red eye removal, text, filters, layers, saving for the web, and printing. Fields of interest included photography, scrap booking, graphic design, the web, and desktop publishing. Class will not be held on July 4. Please request the form when you register. YOGA FOR EVERY "BODY" This is your time to reduce stress, gain flexibility and strength, relax and have fun. This class is for both beginners and for those who already do yoga. Bring your own mat and props (strap and block) if you have them; one cushion or pillow and a blanket. Sue Bishop, Registered Yoga Instructor, offers supportive guidance with modifications to meet the needs of the mature adult. See how yoga can help you relax, relieve stress and improve strength and flexibility. Each class ends with a 10-minute guided relaxation. Class will not be held on 4/2 & 4/9.
