Alqueva Capacity Expansion Enterprise<br />
The capacity expansion project is composed of a new hydraulic circuit<br />
and a new Hydroelectric Plant, which will be equipped with two reversible<br />
generator sets. The works will enable the duplication of the current<br />
installed capacity of the Alqueva Hydroelectric Plant (from 260 MW to<br />
520 MW), making it the second largest hydric plant in Portugal.<br />
