DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS <br />
This document was developed to help parents better understand the student application <br />
documentation requirements needed based on the policy of <strong>Wellspring</strong> and the Lebanese <br />
Ministry of Education. We will address the following situations and we hope that you find <br />
this information useful: <br />
1) Students applying to transfer from a school inside Lebanon (G1-‐12) <br />
2) Students applying from outside of Lebanon (G1-‐12) <br />
3) Students asking for an Equivalence with the Lebanese Program <br />
4) Students asking to obtain an exemption from the Lebanese Curriculum <br />
(Brevet/Baccalaureate official exams) <br />

application. After review, parents will take the documents to the <br />

NOTE: <br />

2) If a student wants to apply for an Exemption from the Lebanese Curriculum (Brevet /Baccalaureate official <br />
exams), that student or his/her parents must visit the UNESCO BUILDING -‐ Verdun, 3 rd Floor, in Beirut to <br />
submit the documents needed (see exemption section) to gain the exemption. <br />
3) <strong>Documents</strong> must be submitted in a plastic sleeve with official Lebanese stamps as follows: <br />
a. Three stamps Valued at LL 10,000 each = LL 30, 000 <br />
b. One stamp Valued at LL 5,000 <br />
4) An official copy of all completed and stamped Exemption letters must also be kept on file at <strong>Wellspring</strong>. <br />
