<strong>New</strong> <strong>UC</strong> <strong>Merced</strong> <strong>TAG</strong> <strong>requirements</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>Spring</strong> <strong>2012.</strong><br />
Application period: May 1 – 31, 2011<br />
For the <strong>Spring</strong> 2012, in order to apply to the <strong>UC</strong> <strong>Merced</strong> <strong>TAG</strong> program students should have completed at least<br />
30 <strong>UC</strong> transferable units and have a GPA of a 2.8. <strong>TAG</strong> students are required to complete all of their transfer<br />
admission <strong>requirements</strong> and the courses <strong>requirements</strong> list <strong>for</strong> their major by the end of the Fall 2011<br />
semester. <strong>UC</strong>M courses and their <strong>Mission</strong> <strong>College</strong> equivalents are listed below.<br />
School of Engineering:<br />
Majors in the School of Engineering require a minimum GPA of 3.0 except <strong>for</strong> Computer Science and<br />
Engineering which requires a minimum GPA of 3.1. The <strong>TAG</strong> requires students to complete the following course<br />
<strong>requirements</strong> at community college prior to enrolling in the University:<br />

School of Social Science, Humanities and Arts:<br />
Majors in the School of Social Science Humanities and Arts require a minimum GPA of 2.8, except <strong>for</strong><br />
Psychology which requires a minimum GPA of 3.0. <strong>TAG</strong>s <strong>for</strong> the majors listed below require students to<br />
complete the following course <strong>requirements</strong> at community college prior to enrolling in the University:<br />
