The below mentioned crew is raising money for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People at the
2013 Nottingham Riverside Festival Dragon Boat Challenge.
Just like everyone else, local life-limited children need a place to play, laugh
and love life. A place where they and their families are cared for and
supported. Rainbows incredible team of people help relieve symptoms,
improve quality of life, support parents and siblings through their bereavement
and care for children until the end. Katie Baxter, Events Manager at Rainbows,
says, “Teams joining the Dragon Boat Challenge will help Rainbows care for
over 230 families every year and offer bereavement support to more than twice
that number. Whilst the children are with us, we help them to have fun and really enjoy life. The truth is that we
can’t do our work without the help of people like you – and we know that together we can bring more love,

The crew raising the most money for Rainbows Hospice for
Children and Young People will receive the Charity Trophy and
enjoy a special prize meal with an arrival glass of bubbly kindly
