Spouse/Guest Spouse/guest registration is available for $35.00. If you plan to bring your spouse or an adult guest, complete the appropriate information on the AAPS Annual Meeting registration website and add the additional registration fee to your remittance. The registration includes admission to the Opening Session, Welcome Reception and the AAPS Exposition including the Tuesday evening reception in the exposition hall. This registration is intended for use by non-scientists and does not allow access into any <strong>of</strong> the lecture sessions, nor are spouse/ guest registrations eligible for CE credits. Continuing Education (CE) Credits NEW! CE POLICIES FOR 2009 AAPS Annual Meeting and Exposition New ACPE regulations require AAPS to change their policies and procedures on CE’s for the 2009 Annual Meeting. In 2009, symposia sessions (2.5 credit hours per session) are the only sessions eligible to receive CE. In addition, all AAPS Short Courses are also eligible to receive CE. Each Short Course CE counts for 7 credit hours, and Workshop CE counts for 8 hours. Therefore, AAPS attendees can receive a maximum <strong>of</strong> 15 hours for symposia sessions, 7 hours for each short course, and 8 hours for the workshop. Attendees wishing to receive CE’s will need to purchase CE’s when registering for the Annual Meeting. To receive full CE credit, written examinations will be given for each session. The exam will consist <strong>of</strong> five multiple choice questions. Attendees must pass the examination to receive full credit. A passing score is answering three out <strong>of</strong> five questions correctly. Attendees who purchase CE will pick up their CE materials on-site at the 2009 AAPS Annual Meeting. Cost for CE certificates is $50 for the Annual Meeting and $50 for a short course. Lost Badges and Expocards AAPS charges $25.00 on-site to replace any lost badge and/or Expocard. This charge is necessary since AAPS is charged for each badge and Expocard printed. Exposition Only You may register on-site only to view the commercial exhibits in the exhibit hall during scheduled exhibit hours from Monday through Wednesday for $105.00 per person, per day. Two and three day passes are also available at a cost <strong>of</strong> $185.00 and $290.00. Advanced registration will not be accepted. This registration fee does not include admittance to any scientific sessions, the Opening Session or receptions. The University <strong>of</strong> Wisconsin is an approved provider <strong>of</strong> continuing pharmaceutical education. For attendance at each <strong>of</strong> the following sessions, AAPS will <strong>of</strong>fer a maximum <strong>of</strong> the hours listed. AAPS Annual Meeting and Exposition: Maximum <strong>of</strong> 15 hours AAPS Workshop on Quantitative Model-based Drug Development in Drug Discovery and Translational Research: 8 hours Short Courses: 7 hours CE fees must be paid at the time <strong>of</strong> registration or on-site; continuing education credits will not be available after the meeting has occurred. Exhibitor booth personnel are eligible for CE credits. CE fees apply to all registrants except Spouse/Guest and Exposition Only, which are not eligible. International Registrants Visa Invitations For visa application invitation letters, use the Visa Request, and include your name, address and the specific information that you require in the letter. If you require express delivery by FedEx, DHL or another delivery service, include your account number or credit card information for express delivery payment.
