Agroup of 50 Post Graduate teachers from different
Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) of India recently visited the
Conservation Technology Centre (CTC) at PCRA, New
Delhi. During the visit, the teachers were enlightened about several
topics such as energy scenario in India and across the globe, scope
for energy conservation and potential for savings, easy ways to
save energy, barriers to energy conservation in various sectors
and their solution etc.
The teachers were very much enthusiastic to take part in the touch
screen quiz organized by EDP, Department of PCRA and found
the visit to be highly useful in enhancing their knowledge on
energy conservation. The teachers also greatly appreciated
the state-of-the-art ‘Conservation Technology Centre’ as well
as the presentation made by Shri G.K. Medhi, Jt. Director,
PCRA.
