A 3-day International Educational<br />
Technology Development Programme<br />
(ETDP) was organized by CMS, Kanpur<br />
Road at its huge auditorium. The Chief<br />
Guest, Mrs Poonam Sodhi, Head,<br />
Research, Development and Consultancy,<br />
Council for the Indian <strong>School</strong> Certificate<br />
Examination, New Delhi, lit the lamp of<br />
learning to inaugurate the programme.<br />
Around 134 Principals, educationists and<br />
scholars from the best schools and<br />
colleges as well as educational societies<br />
of Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka<br />
and various states of India participated in<br />
this programme aimed at building Total<br />
Quality Persons who will be an asset to<br />
society.<br />

Road, Dr (Mrs) Vineeta Kamran<br />
welcomed all the guests and participants<br />
of India and abroad. The delegates from<br />
various countries also visited the Preprimary<br />
Resource Centre at CMS Kanpur<br />
Road. Case-studies were presented by<br />
the delegates and extensive discussions<br />
were held between World Improvement<br />
Teams (WIT) - Unity, Galaxy, Cosmos,<br />
Enlightenment, Innovators, North Star,<br />
Kaizen etc. All the delegates were divided<br />
into these teams which presented case<br />
studies on - Education for under privileged<br />
children, Education for quality, How to<br />
improve poor concentration etc.<br />
Question-answer rounds were also held.<br />

The 4-day International Education<br />
Festival “Global TIE - Global Trends and<br />
Innovations in Education” organized by<br />
CMS, Rajajipuram kicked off to a flying<br />
start at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium on<br />
16 September 2007. Renowned<br />
educationists from Pakistan, Nepal and<br />
various states of India participated in<br />
this international festival and discussed the<br />
<strong>latest</strong> trends in education, the need for a<br />
better system of education world wide<br />
that can effectively meet the requirement<br />
of the 21st century and solve the problems<br />
being faced by students whilst also<br />
building their confidence and preparing<br />
them as World Citizens ready to serve<br />
humanity. The Chief Guest, Mr Daddan<br />
Mishra, Minister for Ayurvedic<br />
CMS Editorial Department organised an inter-branch creative writing contest. We received a tremendous<br />
response from the children. Due to paucity of space we cannot publish the articles. However many of these entries<br />
are being published in the CMS Creative Talents. We heartily congratulate all the prize winners. Results:<br />

fundamental changes in people’s attitudes<br />
bringing them closer and tying them with<br />
the bond of Oneness of Human Beings<br />
and World Brotherhood. Training<br />
programmes for teachers should also<br />
include teaching of Universal Values and<br />
Global Understanding.<br />
National Cyber Olympiad<br />

Vipul Vaibhav Gaur, an ex-student of<br />
CMS, Station Road brought laurels to the<br />
institution by becoming a radio jockey with<br />
Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM. This talented<br />
young man attributes his success to the<br />
holistic education of CMS, all his teachers<br />
