HOW TO RIDE…
buS STOPS
Omnitrans buses only stop at designated Omnitrans bus
stops. Our bus stops are easy to recognize – they look just
like the sample sign at right! New feature: each bus stop
sign will be labeled with a four-digit ID number, starting
May 2010. Reference the number when calling our
service center, (1-800-9-OMNIBUS), to help
identify your location accurately.
SeRViCe AniMALS
Designated service animals are welcome to ride the
bus free of charge. Please note that your driver may
ask if your animal is a service animal, and what tasks
the animal has been trained to perform. You also
may be asked to remove your service animal from
the bus if 1) the animal’s behavior is out of control,
and you do not take effective action to control it; or 2) the
animal poses a direct threat to the health or safety of
others.
Pets may only ride the bus if they are in a secure pet carrier
that fits on your lap.
Bus shelters like this exist along
many of the Omnitrans routes.

stations to expand your traveling horizons!

CÓMO VIAJAR …
DeSVíOS
Como usted ya sabe, vivimos en comunidades atareadas. A
veces hay desfiles locales, eventos especiales, y
construcción vial que exigen que Omnitrans se desvíe de
las rutas que publicamos en el Librito de Autobuses.
Siempre que sea posible, distribuiremos “Alertas
para el pasajero” en nuestros autobuses para
informarle acerca de algún desvío. Pero, por si
acaso, sírvase tener en cuenta que, por motivos de
seguridad, nuestros autobuses no pueden parar en
una zona de construcción (una área señalada con
conos anaranjados). También se puede obtener
información llamando a Omnitrans al 1(800) 9-
OMNIBUS (1-800-966-6428) o visita nuestro
Web cito en www.omnitrans.org.
PARADAS De AuTObuSeS
Los autobuses de Omnitrans paran solamente en las
paradas de autobuses designadas de Omnitrans. Nuestras
paradas de autobuses son fáciles de reconocer, ¡son iguales
al aviso de muestra que aparece a la izquierda! Nuevo:
cada signo de parada de autobús será etiquetado por un
número de identificación de cuatro dígitos, comenzado
Mayo 2010. Réfieraseal numero cuando llame nuestro
centro de servicio, (1-800-9-OMNIBUS), ayudar a
identificar su posición exactamente.
AniMALeS De SeRViCiO
Hay animales de servicio designados que se permiten a
bordo del autobús sin cobro alguno. Sírvase tener en
cuenta que es posible que el conductor le pregunte si su
animal es animal de servicio, y en qué labores se ha
entrenado a su animal. También es posible que le soliciten
que saque del autobús a su animal de servicio si 1) el
comportamiento del animal está fuera de su control, y
usted no toma medidas efectivas para controlarlo; o 2) el
animal presenta una amenaza directa contra la salud o la
seguridad de los demás pasajeros.
Las mascotas sólo pueden ir en el autobús si están en un
portamascotas cerrado que le quepa sobre el canto.

MeTROLink TRAnSFeR POLiCY
Metrolink to Omnitrans
Your Metrolink ticket/pass is good for one free ride on an
Omnitrans bus that serves a Metrolink station (see routes listed
above). When boarding the bus, show your ticket/pass to
the driver. Tickets must be valid for the date on which you’re
riding the bus.
Please Note: Metrolink no longer accepts bus passes/transfers
for discount train fare.
