Creative Arts for<br />

Employment (FdA)<br />

This Foundation Degree will<br />

help you to become<br />

a practitioner in the creative<br />

industries and develop<br />

a broad understanding of<br />

creative arts practice across<br />

a wide range of specialist<br />

areas, including: painting,<br />

drawing, printmaking,<br />

sculpture, ceramics,<br />

photography, video,<br />

installation, textiles, mixed<br />

media and 3D making.<br />

You will receive dedicated<br />

tuition from a team of staff<br />

with specialist expertise, all<br />

of whom are contemporary<br />

practitioners in their<br />

own field.<br />

Graphics & Digital<br />

Media (FdA)<br />

This Foundation Degree will<br />

allow you to make an<br />

immediate creative, ethical<br />

and intelligent contribution<br />

to industry. You will study<br />

all aspects of graphic design<br />

including typography, design,<br />

drawing, illustration,<br />

animation and interactive<br />

and digital design.<br />

Residential study trips,<br />

work experience and<br />

creative enterprises will<br />

further develop your skills.<br />

You should ideally have<br />

both creative and design<br />

software experience, however<br />

bridging qualifications are<br />

available.<br />

Events Management<br />

(FdA)<br />

This course will focus on<br />

the dynamic, diverse and<br />

rapidly developing events<br />

management industry.<br />

You will study a range of<br />

subjects including the events<br />

industry, events marketing,<br />

event project management<br />

and hospitality. In addition,<br />

you will study core business<br />

and management units in<br />

accounting, finance, business<br />

planning and human<br />

resources. Study trips,<br />

seminars with industry<br />

professionals and work<br />

placement will extend your<br />

experience of the industry.<br />
