Flexible, Manageable Study<br />
Foundation Degrees are studied ‘full-time’ for 2 years, involving 1-3 days a<br />
week at <strong>College</strong>, or part-time over 2-4 years, which means you can continue<br />
to work and earn whilst studying. Some involve examinations, but many<br />
focus on continuous assessment and coursework, which can include essays,<br />
presentations, case studies, portfolios, practicals, reports and research projects.<br />

suitable for anyone aged 18<br />
and over, whether you’re<br />

Sixth Form or are a mature<br />

Foundation Degrees in Business Management provide an academic<br />
business background to a wide range of business and administrative roles.<br />

<strong>Macclesfield</strong> <strong>College</strong>’s European Centre for Aerospace Training (ECAT)<br />
has over 50 years’ experience in providing quality training in aircraft<br />
maintenance engineering. It is approved by the UK’s Civil Aviation<br />
Authority to deliver and assess aircraft maintenance training to EASA<br />
IR-Part-147.<br />
Aircraft Maintenance<br />
Engineering (FdEng)<br />
This Foundation Degree<br />
covers topics such as<br />
aerodynamics and propulsion<br />
principles, aerospace<br />
legislation and aircraft<br />
maintenance & structures.<br />
It is underpinned by<br />
engineering mathematics,<br />
