John was born in 1920 at Iberville, Quebec. He served with the <strong>Royal</strong><br />

<strong>Canadian</strong> Artillery in Iceland, England & Canada. Submitted by Herman J.<br />

Good VC Br. #18.<br />

John est né en 1920 à Iberville, Québec. Il a servi en Islande, en Angleterre<br />

et au Canada dans les rangs de l’Artillerie royale canadienne. Soumis par<br />

GRANT, William Seaman<br />

WWII/ Deuxième Guerre mondiale<br />

William was born at Clifton <strong>Royal</strong>, NB. He served with the <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong> Air Force 405<br />

Squadron . William was the son of Mr. & Mrs. Nehemiah Grant of Clifton <strong>Royal</strong>, NB and was<br />

killed in action on Sept. 17, 1942 and is buried at Maubeuge Centre Cemetery. Submitted by<br />

Peninsula Br. #62.<br />

William est né à Clifton <strong>Royal</strong>, N.-B. Il a servi au sein de l’escadron 405 de l’Aviation royale du<br />

Canada. William était le fils de M. et de Mme Nehemiah Grant de Clifton <strong>Royal</strong>, N.-B. Il a été<br />

tué au combat le 17 septembre 1942. Il est enterré au cimetière communal du centre à<br />

Maubeuge. Soumis par la filiale nº 62, Peninsula.<br />

Irvin was born in 1922 at Seal Cove, Grand Manan, NB. He served with<br />

the 4th Division 5th Antitank Regiment in England, France, Holland,<br />

Belgium & Germany. Submitted by Blacks Harbour Br. #39.<br />

Irvin est né en 1922 à Seal Cove, Grand Manan, N.-B. Il a servi en<br />

Angleterre, en France, aux Pays-Bas, en Belgique et en Allemagne dans<br />
