Walkers meet at Nevers Road Park
Pavillion at 8:30AM on Tuesdays and
Thursdays.
Pickleball is similar to tennis played on a
badminton court with lowered nets,
using paddles similar to ping pong
paddles and a plastic ball (like a wiffle
ball) that is easy for beginners to learn!
Go to www.usapa.org for more info.
Tai Chi movements are soothing and
easy to learn while increasing flexibility,
balance and energy.
Mat Yoga is geared towards older adults
to reduce any possible intimidation around
fears of not being fit enough or flexible
enough to be part of a studio yoga class.
No experience necessary!
Chair Yoga is an easier and relaxing
form of yoga.
Zumba is inspired by Latin dance with
musical rhythms and tantalizing moves.
Move to Music~ Enjoy moving through
easy dance routines combined with
simple exercises and stretching to the
popular music from the 40’s thru 60’s
while improving balance & coordination
and gently tone your muscles!
Pilates emphasizes the balanced
development of body through core
strength, flexibility and awareness to
support efficient graceful movement.
Strength Training increases balance,
flexibility, strength and well-being.
Hand weights are available.
International Folk & Line Dance~
Learn dances from France, Italy, Greece
& Romania. Great exercise—lots of fun!
Qigong contains slow, graceful
movements with simple routines while
combining visualization, breathing
techniques and meditation to release the
stress, balance the mood, and strengthen
overall health and vital energy.
Light Aerobics increases your flexibility
and improves your mobility and
cardiovascular system. A great workout
for the older adult looking to stay fit.
