5.3. Employer Services

Employees with limited employment contracts are paid at the end of the respective pay period, employees
with permanent employment contracts at the beginning of the respective pay period. All employer services are
available equally to all part-time and full-time employees.
The following services are offered to employees:
4 Allowance for supplementary health insurance
Employees have the option of obtaining group supplementary health insurance. The Bank pays part of the
premium for this insurance.
4 Accident insurance
BAWAG P.S.K. offers accident insurance (with different benefit levels) for all of its employees.
4 Pension fund
BAWAG P.S.K. makes contributions to a pension fund for its employees.
4 Special employee discount for bank products
4 Company physician
BAWAG P.S.K. also maintains company physician’s offices at its main sites. Our company physicians are
responsible for occupational health issues and also for providing on-site medial care. Our company
physicians also offer free health check-ups and various immunisations free of charge or in some cases
at a nominal fee.
4 Company day nurseries
BAWAG P.S.K. maintains day nursery centres at two of its sites. Each has one nursery area for one- to
three-year-olds and two separate groups for children older than three. This service is intended to assist
BAWAG P.S.K. employees in balancing their work and family obligations.
4 Cafeteria
Employees are offered low-cost lunches (part of the cost is covered by the Bank).

4 Christmas dinner / Christmas vouchers
BAWAG P.S.K. helps fund a group Christmas dinner for its employees. All employees also receive
Christmas vouchers for different retailers.

BAWAG P.S.K. provides funding for a company excursion that is organised by the works council.
