President’s Message
Kevin Cunningham, President, R.C.A.
On behalf of the 2011-2012 RCA Board, we
wish to extend our heartfelt thanks for those
who attended, participated, and volunteered at
the AGM on October 2nd. It was an excellent
event. And not just because it was only thirtyseven
minutes in duration, or that we elected a full board,
but because everyone had time to relax afterwards and
socialize while nibbling on veggies and sipping a hot beverage.
I don’t think that anyone left for at least thirty minutes
after the meeting was adjourned.
I feel privileged to be serving our great community for a
second term, and extremely
lucky to be working with
this team of community
volunteers. Our focus over
the next twelve months is
going to be revitalizing and
developing a plan to help
guide this board and future
boards to fully realize the
potential of our greatest
community asset: the Hall.
We are not going to do this
alone or in isolation. We
will be looking for your
input, perspectives, and
needs. Keep an eye on the

I’m excited to get the
community Sustainability
Action Plan completed in
the very near future, so look
forward to more on that
front.
