Adjust position of blade according to stripping<br />

requirement:<br />

Because there’s dimension distinction between different<br />

manufacturers’ cables, if necessary please adjust the position of<br />

blades.<br />

Using electric drill<br />

Remove the handle then insert the end into the drill (Please<br />

refer to picture right side), and please use low spin speed.<br />

Cut off the cable and straighten the<br />

end for 200mm.<br />

Please cut the cable by<br />

hacksaw.<br />

1) Insert cable into stripping tool.<br />

2) Rotate the handle while pressing the<br />

tool to cable’s direction until the cable<br />

spins loosely in the stripping tool.<br />

Be careful since the sharp<br />

outer conductor and blade<br />

may cause several bodily<br />

injury! Always wear<br />

protective gloves and don’t<br />

insert the finger into the<br />

tool.

If cable’s outer conductor is not cut off<br />

at it’s corrugation ridge, cut the inner<br />

conductor by pliers for a length ”a”<br />

Distance between the end surface to<br />

corrugation ridge. Then go back to<br />

step 2.<br />

If there’s dielectric on the<br />

inner conductor, remove it<br />

by knife.<br />

Be careful NOT to hurt the<br />

inner conductor.<br />

Compare with the gauge on the tool<br />

and check whether the stripping<br />

dimension have been got properly.<br />

end of center contact to assure<br />

Insert cable’s inner conductor into<br />

stripping tool’s lateral hole, then rotate<br />

the tool to flare outer conductor.<br />

Notice: This step should be<br />

done after the operation that<br />

slide the connector ‘s back nut<br />

and clamp ring onto cable.<br />
