Middle School, Grade 5<br />
Opportunities are provided for students in grade 5 who wish to participate in team sports.<br />
<strong>ACS</strong> Hillingdon is a member of the London <strong>International</strong> <strong>Schools</strong> Association (LISA) Middle<br />
School Athletic Programmes, which promotes inclusive programmes for Middle School<br />
students. On the rare occasion where teams do not have sufficient numbers, a programme<br />
may be cancelled.<br />
A selection of activities are offered Monday through Thursday for Middle School students.<br />
Some activities are from 3:30-4:30 while others are from 3:30 – 5:00. Parents may collect<br />
their children after an activity, or the late bus service may be used. Supervision is provided<br />
after activities that end at 4:30 to enable students to utilise the 5:00 late bus. Spaces for<br />
supervision sessions are limited, so please ensure that you reserve a space when you<br />
complete the registration form for an activity. No supervision is available after 5:00 late<br />
bussing. If your child is staying after 5:00 for another activity, such as Scouts, you must<br />
arrange adult supervision.<br />
Please note that some of our activities are fee-based after school programmes run by<br />
outside agencies. A complete list detailing what is currently on offer for each grade level<br />
can be found on forum.<br />
Fall Season September-November<br />
Sports offered: Middle School Cross Country and Soccer (intramural only).<br />
Winter Season November-March<br />
Sports offered: Basketball (intramural only) and Soccer (intramural only).<br />
Spring Season March-May<br />
Sports offered: Middle School Track and Field and Soccer (intramural only).<br />
Saturday Morning Activities<br />
It is an ideal opportunity for students and parents to become involved in the <strong>ACS</strong><br />
community. Activities take place at the school on Saturday mornings for a fee. Generally,<br />
the fall season includes soccer, gymnastics, tennis, and American kickboxing. The winter<br />
season brings basketball, gymnastics and American kickboxing. Tennis, gymnastics, soccer<br />
and American kickboxing take place in the spring.<br />
