Welcome to Fluorspar 09
If you work in the fluorine industry then this established
international event is a must for you.
Fluorspar and the wider fluorine-based industries have
undergone immense change in the last few years, not to
mention the last 12 months.
Last year we were in a situation characterised by tight supply,
new developments, brownfield expansions, and record prices
alongside massive challenges for rising costs of energy, freight,
and environmental control. The scenario 12 months on couldn’t
be more different, apart from the increasing regulatory
restrictions. This year the global markets have been in freefall,
prices are down across the board, mines and production are
closed and difficult decisions have been made.
Making these decisions can be the hardest part and this is
where Fluorspar 09 comes in. If it is information you’re after this
will be the place to get it.
Wherever you are based and whatever your discipline you will
benefit hugely by being in Valencia for two days hearing
presentations from the leading individuals and companies in
the industry.
