Berjaya Sports Toto Berhad (“BToto”), an associated company of the Group, announced on 7 March 2005 that it proposes to undertake
a capital distribution of RM0.50 for every share held to be satisfied wholly in cash. The capital distribution will be carried out via a
reduction of the share capital of BToto pursuant to Section 64 of the Companies Act, 1965. This will result in a reduction of the par value
of the ordinary shares of BToto. Approval from the shareholders of BToto was obtained on 8 June 2005 and the High Court of Malaya’s
confirmation was obtained on 18 August 2005. The BToto capital distribution is now pending completion.
